Quebec Nocte Lumen by DF Design
We have published some amazing winter and night time videos recently featuring Montreal by Winter, Montréal sous la neige and Quebec City North America’s most European city.
Quebec | Nocte Lumen by Dominic from DF Design is another stunning work focused on Quebec city at night.
“This project, consisting entirely of photographs, was produced following four concepts; Old Quebec | Lights | Winter | Night, and it was created using the following four techniques; Timelapse | Hyperlapse | Stop Motion | Lightpainting.”
Below is a but of technical info about the making of the video – and in true Canadian style Dominic even offers the inside scoop on where to go to dinner when visiting Quebec.
“The project statistics:
400 hours + for filming, 150 hours for post-production
10,000 RAW photos, 65 sequences for 150 gigabytes of data
3 frostbitten fingers
4 parking fines, $ 176″
“Thanks for watching and don’t hesitate to ask me about where to go, for the best restaurants and hotels when you will come for a trip in this gorgeous city of Québec.”
