Rocky Mountaineer’s Hero Train
Life Changing Train for Heroes is a new initiative by Rocky Mountaineer to honour different community “heroes”. The first annual hero journey onboard the Rocky Mountaineer saw military members who suffered injuries invited to enjoy the journey, enjoy some pampering and in the words of Rocky Mountaineer President and CEO, Randy Powell ” do some healing”
Lance Corporal Gary Wilson and his wife Renee from Sydney were invited to Canada by Rocky Mountaineer for a very, very special VIP Rocky Mountaineer departure | Watch the video !
Did you know Rocky Mountaineer is a family company ? Since its inception in 1990 it has grown to be the busiest privately owned passenger rail service in North America.
Rocky Mountaineer is a huge part of the community and the community is a huge part of Rocky Mountaineer. Thousands of Canadians are involved with Rocky and are proud of their national icon. It is a PR exercise but it had us in tears and we loved it ! Well done Rocky Mountaineer !
